Question: can I use the images on your site without paying fees ( and remove the "3D pixs "sign that's on it)?

–Of course not ! Or only if you wouldn't mind to be introduced to our law firm. All our images are for commercial purposes. Any fraudulent use of our images make you liable for lawsuits, it's automatic. Unless where it has been agreed on a compensation.

Question:is the brand "3Dpixs.com"printed on the image that is bought?

–Of course not, graphically speaking, the image is sold without anything printed on it.

Question:can I use the image I bought for several projects or clients?Forever?

–Yes, once you have paid the price we have agreed upon, you have the right to use this image on as much projects or as long as you want!

Question: can I use your images for a booklet... or a printed work?

–Yes, our images are of an excellent quality and you can obtain them in A4 format (21*29.7 cm) in 300 dpi.You can easily enlarge them thanks to the good digital quality. We also offer any size and resolution that will suit you, in our customization offer.

Question: can I use a picture of your image bank to make a greetings postcard that I will eventually communicate( paper size) for advertisement purposes, without limit as for the number of copy that can be printed.

–Yes . See article 3 in our licence agreement.

Question: can I create and resale to the general public a wishings card or a postal card with your images on it?

–Not to the general public. Check our licence article 3.4. But we still can negociate. Contact us.

Question:Can I use your images in an online game, a moving Flash, or an internet site?

–Yes, you can use our images in a Flash, even if you resale it. As far as you conform to paragraph 2 of article 3 in the license.

Question: can I use your images in a DVD, or a CD- ROM?

–Yes. See the dispositions of the licence for a digital broadcasting.

Customization service.

Question: what makes it that customization involves all the displayed images?

– All our images being original creations, all of them being 3D images,it is therefore possible to modify all the aspects, which are only parameters in a 3D software. Some images are easier to edit when it comes to customization(message, text, logo, color...) but they can all be modified almost entirely( by 99%).

Question:What are the deadlines for the customization of an image?

– We customize images within a few hours or 3 days, depending on the complexity of the task. Some images take 24 hours to be calculated! Before you order, our consellors will fix a reliable deadline.

Size, delivery, technical aspects

Question: is it possible to be delivered quickly ?

–Yes, delivries are made:

• By a instant downloading link through your web navigator; login to "your account".

If you can't seem to succeed, our consellors, will help you.

For great quantities, or volumes of images (ie: big 300 dpi PSD multi-layers or animations):

• Private FTP(access for clients only)which needs a software of FTP type as the FTPExpert...These deliveries are made on our servor or on yours if you have one.

Question:Is it possible to be delivered trough the internet?

– Deliveries are made through the internet, by downloading the item. Log in to "your account" tab.

It is a simple web link on wich you click to download your ready for delivery image (as a .zip file).

Question:How long does it take to be delivered after payment?

– A few minutes after the acceptance of your payment is enough (thus prefer online payment with Paypal account or by credit card on Linkpoint). If the image is available with the resolution and the size you desire (that indicated online as 'instant download')and that you have access to high-speed internet, it's almost automatic. Do not log off from our website !

Question: What is a cut out ?

-It's an image with a channel layer, which is frequently used, with the alpha cut out layer, which makes it possible to cut and paste the main subject of the image, without the background. For example, it will be possible to remove Father Christmas from its white background to paste it back on another photograph, another background...

Question:What is a PSD?

– It is an Adobe Photoshop format image , which is the photograph editing software for the web and printing. The good thing with PSD is its excellent quality and the possibility to keep a cut out or a transparency mask on different layers. Some of our cut out images are in PSD or muti- layer format.

Question: What is a CUT OUT PSD?

–It is a Photoshop format image, with a cut out mask (in the layer pannel) which makes it possible to cut the main subject and to paste it back , without the background. For example, it will be possible to cut Earth from its space dark background to paste it back on another photograph, another background...

Question: What is a multiple-layers PSD (multi- layer)?

– It is an Adobe Photoshop format file which keeps the image on several layers one on the other. Our 3D images can be converted to that format. The editing of all colors and aspects of the 3D image (shadows, specularities, reflection, deep of field, radiosity) is thus made easier. It is not an image that you are buying anymore but an infinity of potential images.

Question: How can you read a PSD without Adobe Photoshop?

– Several graphic editing programs identify this format. If you meet problems or wish to be delivered in another format ( TIFF or JPEG), mention it and we will deliver the images converted to that format ( this service is free for now). This is not possible for multi-layer.

Question: which format should I use for a background presentation(Powerpoint presentation...)

– The 1024*768 format (ideal for full screen). You can easily load the JPEG format in all Microsoft softwares or of screen presentation software.

Question: what if I can load your pictures in the software I use ?

– If you wish so, changes of size and standardized fileformat (GIF, JPG, PowerPoint background...) are not a problem.Or reduction of the resolution of the existing image. Just ask support.

Question: do you sale your 3D sources (objects, models...)?

– Check this other webstore: 3d objects store (for Cinema4D)

Conversely, it can be sold to firms on contrat. If you are a distibutor, or an editor, present us your projects.

Question: Are you also into moving images?

– Yes, it is part of our activity in the customization service, and in other of our activities.

Question: Is it possible to have a real 3D online?

– Yes, it is technically possible, now the quality has nothing to do with the images shown here. Furthermore, it always requires plugins or java which are not standardised technologies for the moment.

Question: is it possible to make a real relief postcard, with a real 3D effect?
